Mastering DAX Video Course

This is the video course version of the Mastering DAX workshop.
DAX is the native language of Power BI, Power Pivot for Excel, and SSAS Tabular models in Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services. The training is aimed at users of Power BI, Power Pivot for Excel, and at Analysis Services developers that want to learn and master the DAX language.

The goal of the course is to teach all the features of DAX, providing the knowledge to write formulas for common and advanced business scenarios. The video course is made up of over 15 hours of lectures, plus another 15-20 hours of individual exercises. You can watch the videos at anytime and the system will keep track of your progress. Within the course you can download the material for all the exercises.

Students have access to a private discussion area where they can interact with the instructors asking questions related to the lectures and the exercises.

Exceptional Power BI course! Invaluable content propelled my career. Clear insights, practical skills—transformative learning experience!

  • Diogo Abreu (Nov 28, 2023)

Great content. It was really relevant to my career

  • Erick Munoz (Nov 5, 2023)

It was awesome, im still going through the exercises (so maybe its already addressed) but i would have like more complex problems involved

  • Petr Vajda (Nov 1, 2023)

This video course exceeded my expectations. Exceptional performance by both lecturers. Thank you Peter

  • Abdul Rehman (Oct 31, 2023)

This course was awesome. I have gained practical knowledge and have cleared my concepts of how to use DAX and what is the purpose of each function of DAX. There are still some chapters which I need to re-do because I understand that the concepts and knowledge in ending chapters are very high level and expert level specially related to multiple segmentation, relationship, bidirectional filters, relationship at different granularities, calculation group, these are must re-visit chapters. I can now use the concepts and apply the logic while writing the DAX for any projects. I would appreciate the way of explanation of both the trainers. First, they give examples with lesser improved version of DAX and then they explain the same expression or aggregation with the improved version and also explain the difference between the two applications. The chapters which I enjoyed a lot is "The Calculate function", Iterator, Time Intelligence, and Table functions". When I started this course, I thought to write the review for each course as I found this course very professional, easy to understand and real-world examples with scenarios. But I couldn't manage it I hope I covered everything in this review if I missed, I would add or update again because revisit is must for this course. I highly recommend this course to everyone who wants to unlock the real knowledge of DAX and want to take you BI project to higher level. Enjoy DAX :)

  • Alan Feito (Oct 27, 2023)

I loved the course, I was able to understand issues that I had loose in DAX and understand how to build from something basic to elevate it to a level. I'm going to miss Sales Amount, but I'm taking a lot of tools with me to continue improving.

  • anthony Levy (Oct 25, 2023)

Great course. Thanks a lot for putting it together.

  • Mattias Ahlvin (Oct 24, 2023)

    Great course!

  • Cezary Poks (Oct 16, 2023)

Well, it is simply fantastic. I have found many useful practices which I certainly use. Your lectures are clear although not easy sometimes but I will surely return to them in a time. I am going to continue a journey with you in 'Optimizing DAX'

  • Anatoly (Oct 15, 2023)

Really good course. Well taught with real-life problem exercises. Explanation of the CALCULATE and it's reading and application on tables was very important!

  • Diogo Abreu (Oct 12, 2023)

The Power BI course I recently completed was an outstanding learning experience. The course offered a comprehensive curriculum, catering to beginners and advanced learners alike. The instructors were not only knowledgeable but also great at simplifying complex concepts and providing support. Real-world examples and case studies enhanced the practicality of the course. The online platform was user-friendly, and the high-quality resources were accessible at my own pace. This course significantly improved my data visualization and analysis skills, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking to enhance their Power BI expertise. It was a valuable investment in my professional development.
