Kurt discovered his passion for working with data when completing his PhD in Biomedical Sciences. Since 2018, Kurt has worked with Power BI. Kurt is an author of the Power BI implementation planning and the Fabric adoption roadmap, guidance published by Microsoft to help organizations adopt and implement Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. Kurt writes articles and white papers with Alberto Ferrari and Marco Russo that are available on sqlbi.com.
Today, Kurt focuses on delivering articles, presentations, and trainings for Power BI and Analysis Services. Kurt also provides consulting to help customers plan and implement Power BI in their organization.
Kurt speaks at international conferences, like Sqlbits and Dataminds Connect. He likes to meet with and mentor people who transitioned their careers to the data and analytics space from other sectors and specializations.
When he is not working, you can find Kurt preparing his Dungeons & Dragons campaign, or spending time with his family.
