Power Pivot Workshop – Video Course
Learn to master Power Pivot for Excel from your chair with our high quality video course.
This video course is divided in three parts: the first one (Beginner) introduces Power Pivot to any user who knows Excel and want to create reports with more complex and large data structures than a single table made by few thousand rows. The Beginner section is completely available in the free trial, you are just one click away to start.
The second part of the course (Intermediate) improves your skills on Power Pivot for Excel, introducing you to the DAX language and important features such as CALCULATE and Time Intelligence functions.
The last part (Advanced) enables you to master Power Pivot for Excel. You will understand DAX in depth, which is required for writing complex calculations. You will also learn how to create complex reports and data models by leveraging advanced features of both Excel and Power Pivot.
Power Pivot is available in both Excel 2010 and Excel 2013, and it is the center of Power BI, the Microsoft offer for self-service analytics. You do not need any previous experience in Power Pivot to take this course.
The course includes almost 10 hours of video in 73 lectures.
Students have access to a private discussion area where they can interact with the instructors asking questions related to the lectures and the exercises.

If you really want to get your hand SERIOUSLY DIRTY with Power Pivot on Excel or for Power BI....then THIS IS the course for you.
- Morris Muthubi (Apr 14, 2020)
This was a well-outlined class. I look forward to finishing the definitive guide. I love Marco's teaching style and I look forward to more interaction. Worth the money and time
- Kenneth Barber (Dec 4, 2019)
This course has aged surprisingly well. However, some parts of this course are no longer relevant. SQLBI's Mastering DAX course largely supersedes this course, and I would recommend that most people take Mastering DAX instead.
- Thomas Rice, PMP (Aug 16, 2019)
Great course! I am very close to taking exam 70-779! Thanks again! Highly recommended for all Excel users.
- Marshall Joubert (Jun 17, 2019)
Despite covering a previous version of Excel, the material was still relevant.
- Min Thein Aung (Aug 6, 2018)
Extremely useful for my career allowing my capability in analysis of transactions which are almost impossible to processed in Excel without using Power Pivot. If the course is programmed with explanation of each formula that are introduced along the chapters in a way what is their nature, how they work or when they are useful, it would make the course more compelling!
- Ezequiel A. Costa (Jun 17, 2018)
Wonderful workshop! Congratulations Marco Russo and Alberto Ferrari
