Many tables contain hierarchies to simplify the navigation in a report, like Category , Subcategory , and Product Name in a Product table. This pattern shows how to correctly identify the hierarchical level displayed in a report, in order to correctly implement a different calculation for each level of a user hierarchy in a Tabular model. For example, this technique is necessary to correctly compute a ratio-to-parent measure (% of Parent).
