• Power BI Desktop November 2018
The November 2018 update is huge, and there are many other announcements for the services. The biggest features in the Desktop are Expand & Collapse in Matrix (almost like a PivotTable, but only for rows), new filtering experience, and a new modeling view with editing features (including display folders). • Introducing Power BI dataflows
In short, you can copy your M script in Power Query from your Power BI Desktop file to a dataflow, running it on the Power BI service and storing the result of the transformation in a format that can be quickly and easily consumed by several Power BI datasets. The feature is in public preview and it is a more advanced form of self-service ETL that can be easily shared across different models. Read more »
